ππ¬ Today marked the end of an incredible chapter for our Cedar Valley 5th graders.
This morning, we celebrated their accomplishments as they prepared to take the next step into middle school. This afternoon, we watched them walk through our doors for the final time as Cedar Valley Dolphins.
It was a bittersweet day filled with pride, laughter, memories, and a few tears. Over the years, we have watched these students grow into leaders, overcome challenges, build friendships, and leave their mark on our school.
To our 5th graders: Thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the joy you brought to Cedar Valley. As you begin your middle school journey, carry your confidence, kindness, resilience, and Dolphin pride with you.
Once a Dolphin, always a Dolphin. ππ¬

ππ State Research in Action! ππ
Mrs. Powellβs 5th grade class has been busy becoming young researchers! Students explored different states across the country and used a variety of research techniques to gather facts, organize information, and identify key details.
After completing their research, students transformed their learning into creative and informative state brochures showcasing geography, landmarks, history, symbols, and fun facts. This project gave students the opportunity to strengthen their research, reading, writing, organization, and presentation skills while learning more about our nation. πΊπΈ
We are proud of the hard work, creativity, and effort our students put into bringing their states to life! Great job, Mrs. Powellβs class!
