Today was all about getting details in place and making sure we’re ready to welcome our Dolphins back! But of course, we had to mix a little fun into the work. 😉

🥞 We started the morning with a sweet treat of mini pancakes to fuel the day, then got creative with a little Paint Your Jeans activity to add some extra CVES school spirit! 🎨👖💙

Between organizing, preparing, planning, and a little painting, our team is putting the finishing touches on another great start to the school year.

Today was another successful day of preparing for an amazing school year! Our instructional aides continued training to ensure we all begin the year on the same page and ready to support every Dolphin’s success.

Led by our administrative team, our aides practiced communicating with one another, worked through real-world campus scenarios, and collaborated to strengthen their teamwork. It was wonderful to see our veteran aides sharing their knowledge while encouraging and supporting our newest team members, helping ensure everyone feels confident and prepared for the first day of school.

Meanwhile, our teachers were engaged in curriculum learning led by our Math CIS and RLA CIS, diving deep into the curriculum, collaborating with their teams, and planning high-quality instruction that will help every student succeed.

Every training, every conversation, and every opportunity to collaborate brings us one step closer to an incredible school year. Together, we’re building a strong foundation so our students can thrive from the very first day.

We can’t wait to welcome our Dolphins back and continue Making Waves together! 🌊🐬

Today our team focused on the power of effective coaching and how meaningful conversations can help every educator continue to grow. We learned together, shared plenty of laughs, and took time to celebrate the good by sharing photos that brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

Every conversation, every connection, and every opportunity to learn helps us make bigger waves for our students. We can’t wait to put today’s learning into action!

🌊💙We are officially riding the waves into the 2026–2027 school year at Cedar Valley Elementary! 🌊

Today was all about celebrating our incredible staff and kicking off another amazing year together. Teachers were welcomed with a Hawaiian lei, enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and took time to relax with a soothing coloring activity. We learned more about one another through Bingo and Four Corners, sharing fun facts and lots of laughs along the way.

We were also honored to be recognized by for the tremendous growth our campus achieved last year—a reflection of the dedication and heart our staff pours into our students every single day.

We wrapped up the day with team-building activities, a little friendly competition on the bowling lanes, and plenty of smiles.

The energy is high, the team is stronger than ever, and we can’t wait to welcome our Dolphins back. Here’s to making waves, growing together, and creating another unforgettable year at Cedar Valley Elementary
