📚 Before the first day of school, take a few minutes to review the 2026-2027 Killeen ISD Student Code of Conduct.

The Student Code of Conduct includes important reminders about:
✅ Dress code expectations
✅ Personal communication devices
✅ Clear or mesh backpack requirements
✅ Water bottle guidelines
✅ Other student expectations for the school year

Reviewing the Student Code of Conduct before shopping or the first day can help ensure your student is ready for a successful start to the school year.

📅 Manor Middle School students begin classes Tuesday, Aug. 4. All other Killeen ISD students return Monday, Aug. 17.

🚌 New this school year: SMART Tag! Students must scan their Killeen ISD ID badge every time they board and exit the school bus. This helps ensure students are on the right bus and gives families added peace of mind with real-time ride updates through the SMART Tag app.

🍎 Free Breakfast & Lunch for All Students at Killeen Elementary School! 🍎

Thanks to the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act and the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), all students at our campus can receive free breakfast and lunch every school day during the 2026-2027 school year.

✅ Families may still add money to student meal accounts for à la carte purchases.
