🎉 Field Day Reminder! 🎉

Field Day is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday and Friday! Please be sure to check the Field Day schedule to know when your child's grade level will participate.

For safety and supervision purposes, our campus and surrounding grounds will be closed to visitors on Field Day. Only approved volunteers will be allowed to assist throughout the day.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we ensure a fun and safe Field Day for all students! 🏃‍♂️☀️

In the event of inclement weather, students will engage in indoor field day activities.

Field Day Schedule:

Thursday, May 21:

- Pre-K / K / Cintron-Diaz / Coy / ECSE: Morning only: 9:00 AM-11:15 AM

- 1st and 2nd Grade: Afternoon only 11:45 AM- 2:00 PM

Friday, May 22:

- 3rd Grade: Morning only: 9:00 AM -11:15 AM

- 4th / 5th/ Harris / Appleton: Afternoon only: 11:45 AM - 2:00 PM

Killeen Elementary had a little extra help today—Chewie reporting for duty! 🐾

He kicked off the morning attending a leadership meeting, made his way through the front office, and even stopped by the book fair for a quick tour. Later, he helped out on bus duty, greeting students with his signature Wookiee charm.

By the end of the day, Chewie was all worn out and took a well-deserved break in the nurse’s office.

La Escuela Primaria de Killeen tuvo una ayuda extra hoy—¡Chewie reportándose al servicio! 🐾

Comenzó la mañana asistiendo a una reunión con el equipo de liderazgo, pasó por la oficina principal y hasta hizo un recorrido por la feria del libro. Más tarde, apoyó durante la salida de autobuses, saludando a los estudiantes con su inconfundible encanto Wookiee.

Al final del día, Chewie estaba agotado y tomó un merecido descanso en la enfermería.
