A variety of educators from Live Oak Ridge Middle School recently attended the Solution Tree PLC at Work® Institute, investing in professional learning to strengthen our campus and student success. Our LOBOS were eager to gain innovative ideas, practical strategies, and valuable insights focused on collaboration, student achievement, and continuous improvement. Through engaging sessions and meaningful connections with educators from across the country, our team is returning energized and equipped to make an even greater impact. As we prepare for the new school year, these dedicated staff members are ready to share their learning, strengthen our Professional Learning Communities, and help set the stage for a successful and winning year for both teachers and students.

LORMS Wrapped Up Spirit Week in Style! Last day for teachers! What an amazing way to close out the 2025–2026 school year! Our Luau-themed celebration brought together great food, lots of laughter, and unforgettable moments as we celebrated the incredible teachers and staff who make LORMS such a special place. From delicious eats and fun activities to Roast Awards, Service Year Recognitions, and I SEE U Badge Awards, the day was filled with appreciation, encouragement, and celebration. Most importantly, it reflected the heart of our CKH culture with building meaningful relationships, supporting one another, and growing stronger as a team. As this chapter begins to close, we celebrate the hard work, growth, perseverance, and accomplishments of our students throughout this school year. As we await the entry of 8th grade class of 2026 we are presented with beautiful music from Maestro Howell. Today marks the culmination of years of hard work, growth, friendships, and unforgettable memories made here at LORMS. Our LOBO students have faced challenges, celebrated successes, and embraced opportunities that have prepared them for their next chapter. As they prepare to walk across this floor and begin their journey into high school next school year, we gather to celebrate their accomplishments, their resilience, and the bright futures that await them.

Wednesday’s for Spirit Week theme at LORMS was “Switch It Up Wednesday!” Teachers dressed as students, and students dressed as teachers for a day full of laughs, creativity, and school spirit! It was a fun way for students to step into the shoes of educators while also seeing the importance of dress code and professionalism in a positive and engaging way. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day memorable!

LOBOS brought the BEACH vibes to the hallway of LORMS! It was all about tropical colors, fun energy, and showing off LOBO spirit during Beach Day! LOBOS showed up ready to celebrate, make memories, and bring a little sunshine to campus. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make today full of smiles, school spirit, and great memories as we continue closing out the school year strong!

8th Grade Meet Me at Midnight (Masquerade Ball)…unforgettable moments shared with friends, the night was filled with laughter, and music. Memories made and the exciting crowning of the Prince and Princess made it more special.
