We were able to catch up with Katherine over the summer with her new surfboard. Katherine was the big winner at our pancake dinner last year. Thank you to MacDaddy Surfboards for custom-designing her board!

This is the Fifth annual “Back to school” camp! Bring school supplies of any type on the day of the camp and it’s free! Coaches from FFMS and MMS will be in attendance! Come out have some fun playing basketball and help out the less fortunate in our district! Boys and girls from Dare county schools can attend! Rising 6th graders to 9th graders!

You may have heard that DCS has a new policy related to e-bikes on school campuses. We want to encourage your child to bike/scooter to school, but for the safety of others, it's important that once they get onto our campus sidewalks, they get off of their bikes/scooters and walk them to the front of the school. Here is a map to help you plan your child's route to school.

Es posible que hayas oído que DCS tiene una nueva política relacionada con las bicicletas eléctricas en los campus escolares. Queremos animar a tu hijo a que vaya en bicicleta o patinete al colegio, pero por la seguridad de los demás, es importante que una vez que lleguen a las aceras de nuestro campus se bajen de sus bicicletas o patinetes y los lleven caminando hasta la entrada del colegio.
