We would like to shout a HUGE thank you to East Texas Lumber Yard for donating lumber AND to Energy Weldfab for their donation of metal to our CTE programs!

We cannot wait to see what great projects our students will build with your generous donations!

Big thank you goes to John Lewis for taking care of picking up the metal & unloading it at our KHS CTC building.

Students from our Health Science SkillsUSA team competed at the National Competition this week in Atlanta, GA.

We are SO PROUD to announce that the American Spirit team earned the SILVER 🥈medal!

Some of our KHS welding students recently competed at the Texas High School Welding state contest in Abilene.
Aldo Laredo received 1st place in the Level 4 event! We are so incredibly proud of him and all of our students who competed. We had several make it to the second day of the competition, and that’s an achievement in itself!

We are proud of our KHS Health Science program and their commitment to the donor registry! 🐾

Last year, when Kilgore students received the 1st-place trophy for signing up the most potential donors for life-saving transplants, their teacher predicted they’d win the trophy again in 2026.This week, that prediction came true.

Today our 8th grade students at KMS had an incredible Career Day!

We welcomed a variety of professionals who shared their experiences, advice, and insight into different career paths. From hands-on demonstrations to real-world stories, our students had the opportunity to explore future possibilities and start thinking about their goals beyond middle school.

A huge thank you to all of our participants who took time out of their day to invest in our students’ futures—we couldn’t do it without you!
