Today, our Human Growth & Development students got a hands-on look at what happens during a C-section! Students worked through the different layers of “tissue” by carefully cutting through layers of paper before finally delivering their baby! (Doll!)

This activity gave students a fun and memorable way to visualize the layers involved in a cesarean birth and connect what they’ve learned in class to a real-world healthcare experience.

We love hands-on learning activities to bring the curriculum to life! 🐾

Mr. Robinson’s KHS A/V Practicum students recently interviewed Mrs. Bailey and the Spirit Depot Practicum students about their roles at The Spirit Depot! 🐾❤️

It’s a great example of our students getting real-world experience in interviewing, media production, marketing, and communication—all while showcasing what’s happening right here at KHS!

The KHS Victory Bell that’s been at football games for decades…got a facelift, thanks to our KHS Construction students! These students replaced rotten boards, added water proof stain, sanded down the entire setup,
re-painted it and polished the bell.

It’s ready to ring loud for
KHS Homecoming 2026! 🐾

Thank you to these students and their teacher, Mr. John Lewis for completing this project for our school and community!

Kilgore CTE Marketing Program of Study had the Grand Opening of the Spirit Depot today! This is a student run store led by our Practicum of Marketing students, and their teacher, Mrs. Emily Bailey. We are SO proud-Go Dogs! 🐾

Our FFA officers have had an amazing week at State Convention! We are especially proud of our students who received their Lone Star Degree! Follow Kilgore FFA for all the updates on convention & throughout the year! 🐾

We would like to shout a HUGE thank you to East Texas Lumber Yard for donating lumber AND to Energy Weldfab for their donation of metal to our CTE programs!

We cannot wait to see what great projects our students will build with your generous donations!

Big thank you goes to John Lewis for taking care of picking up the metal & unloading it at our KHS CTC building.

Students from our Health Science SkillsUSA team competed at the National Competition this week in Atlanta, GA.

We are SO PROUD to announce that the American Spirit team earned the SILVER 🥈medal!
