Sarah's Voice & Piano Studio Sarah Frugé, classically trained musician and native of East Texas, has over 15 years of experience as a music educator, teaching preschoolers through adults.

Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from East Texas Baptist University, where she graduated with distinction, in 2004. Sarah is thrilled to be offering both piano and voice lessons, at her private studio, in Kilgore, TX. Sarah believes singing is the foundation for good musicianship and that children and adults alike can play anything they can sing. So, she finds teaching students h

ow to use their singing voice and how to recognize and produce pitches and rhythms very rewarding! She has a passion for teaching music literacy which can open up life-long, fulfilling opportunities for students. Sarah incorporates the Kodaly method into her teaching and has attended training at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention, in San Antonio, since 2003. Sarah had very patient music teachers who encouraged her to reach her potential, and she hopes to provide the same inspiration to her students! Sarah and her husband, John, of 20 years reside in Kilgore, TX with their three children, Ryan, 16, Drew, 13, and Loralei, 3, and their Alaskan malamute show dogs, Major and Treasure.
