📸🩻 X-Ray on the MOVE! 🚐
Our Radiologic Science students got to step outside the traditional imaging department and explore another side of the profession when National Mobile X-Ray came to visit!
Students had the opportunity to tour the mobile unit, check out the portable X-ray equipment, explore the computer and digital imaging workflow, and learn firsthand what it takes to bring diagnostic imaging directly to the patient.
Mobile imaging allows technologists to take X-ray services directly to patients in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, rehab, hospice, home health, and other settings where transporting the patient may be difficult. 🚐🩻
And the best part? This isn’t just something our students learned about today. It’s a career opportunity available right here in East Texas! 👀 National Mobile X-Ray is currently hiring Radiologic Technologists in our area!
We love being able to introduce our students to the MANY paths available with a career in Radiologic Technology, especially when those opportunities are available right here in our own community.
