Mahalo to First Tee Maui and Coach Joie Ruggiero for coming to teach golf lessons to our fifth graders! Mr. Lee’s class kicked off our first session today!

Students had a blast working on their swing and learning golf and life skills in fun and exciting ways. They played golf baseball and other activities while building cooperation and teamwork.

We’re excited to expand our partnership and programming so students in all grade levels will have these opportunities!

Kamali’i School welcomed Dr. Allison Hintz back to our campus yesterday. She worked with our students, conducted PD with our staff, and we celebrated her new book! We have worked with her over the years and our school is featured in Chapter 2 of the book! We are so grateful for the opportunity to continue to learn from her and explore ways to engage our students in math.

Kamali’i students returned from break today to a wonderful surprise - a freshly repainted play area! Mahalo to Steve Landin, parent and real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty. Mahalo also to Sherwin Williams for the donation of materials. Steve and his small, but mighty team of volunteers spent many hours during the break creating this inviting area for our students to play. They were so excited this morning.
