20 years. I cant believe it. When I started looking through the photos of what pictures to share. I realized even just looking back at the last few years I am such a blessed man. To be married to an amazing woman for 20 years that loves people so much. Loves adventure. Loves Jesus. Is so passionate about helping others. I am such a lucky man. The wisdom and grace and passion my wife brings to this world is beyond words. I learn so much from her and am so grateful. Our marriage has not been the easiest to say the least. We have walked our ups and downs. We have fought. We have cried we have laughed we have celebrated. We have overcome. But the beauty of our marriage is we keep pressing in to God and trusting him to lead us and what an adventure it has been. H

What an incredible weekend. Saturday night worship in the back yard. Church Sunday God was moving in the hearts of so many. Then Sunday afternoon baptisms. I feel so blessed to get to help lead this amazing community of people chasing after the heart of God.

I was reflecting this morning on 2024 and I realized what an incredible year of friends and travel and experiences but when I noticed absolutely most was, it was the people it was the people that made the moments it wasn’t all about the most beautiful sunset or exploring Italy, but it was about the people that I gotta do life with over 2024. I didn’t even have enough room to fill with the photos of all the experiences and times with people that gathered on my back deck or went to the beach or the children that got a come and stay and live with us for a time, but I believe that God has created us to do life with others and that it is people that reflect Christ to this world that make moments extraordinary

Been a few years since I have been in the snow. But probably got to ride some of the best terrain and snow of my life. What an amazing time with good friends. Thanks for an amazing trip.

As you know it has been a long time since my last post. I recently have decided to shift away from the name Braving the Journey and simple go back to my name. It is not because I no longer believe that life is a journey that takes a lot of Bravery, I do think life is hard and takes a lot of courage to walk. But Braving the Journey for me focused a lot on sobriety and recovery (which I believe are still so valuable and important and without my current sobriety I would not be where I am today) But I am intentionally making a shift away from that being the main focus of conversation.

I want to focus beyond just Sobriety and Recovery and look at the whole person. I believe we are all created by God, designed to reflect the unique characteristics of God that is in us. I believe God is fully love and because of that God invites us into a deeper understanding of knowing how to love ourselves and love other. I want this to be a place you can discover Jesus and how to love yourself and others well. When we do that we will see the world shift for the better.

I would love for you to join me on this adventure of life. I may be starting up a podcast again soon, but for the moment I am just going to be getting my thoughts out in writings and videos.

Everyone is welcome to join us tonight for potluck and worship as we start the beginning of reading the Bible from beginning to end. 5:30 at our house. 8 kuilima pl. kihei. Months ago I felt God ask me to gather people and read his word together from beginning to end. To read his word over this island and to watch and see how God moves. I want to invite you all into what God is doing. Tonight at the beginning there will be sign up for different time slots to sign up to read But come for the whole 72 hours or just a few hours it’s up to you. Hope to see you all tonight.

Well I haven’t posted for a really long time but this day deserves it. Happy birthday to my amazing wife. . She is someone I am honored to live life with. She handles it with such wisdom and grace and disciples other around her. God teaches me a lot about him through her.
