Keyser Middle School

Keyser Middle School had their first golf match in school history today. Playing at Valley View Golf Club, Keyser Middle finished fourth out of six schools. The other five schools have had golf for the past two years. The team’s next match is Sept. 24th at Capon Springs Resort. Coach Mike would like to express that he is very proud of the team!!

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT

August 19

INCOMING 5TH GRADERS & NEW STUDENTS:

Door 29 opens at 3:30 PM.

A short presentation will begin at 3:45 PM. Following the presentation:

* Incoming 5th graders will learn who their homeroom teacher is and have the opportunity to visit their classroom.
* Other new students will receive their schedules and may visit their classrooms and teachers.

GRADES 6, 7 & 8:

Door 29 opens at 4:15 PM.

Students and families may come and go between 4:15–5:15 PM. During your visit, you can:

* Pick up your student’s schedule.
* Visit informational tables in the cafeteria.
* Stop by the clinic for any needed vaccinations.
* Visit classrooms and meet teachers.

Back to School Night will conclude at 5:30 PM.

The KMS Family is back and we are ready for another great year! There’s something special about having our whole team back together under one roof.

We sure miss our students!!!!🖤💛🌪️

Next Friday, 8/21, we’ll be ready to open these doors for our kids. Let’s make 2026–2027 an amazing year!!!! ❤️

Today we officially welcomed our KMS staff back!
🖤💛

We started our day at PSC with a staff development session led by Dr. Ruby Payne, and we had the privilege of honoring two very deserving staff members, Lana Kephart and Karinda Wildman, with Betty Walker Awards! 👏

We then returned home to KMS for an afternoon of professional development with our KMS Family. We celebrated last school year, reflected on where we’ve been, and looked ahead to the year before us.

There’s something special about having our KMS Family back together. Here’s to building on our traditions, supporting one another, and making the 2026–2027 school year a great one! 🖤💛
