HE IS RISEN!
Matthew 28:1-10
After the Sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord, descending from heaven, came and rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning and his clothing white as snow. For fear of him the guards shook and became like dead men. But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has been raised from the dead, and indeed he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see him.’ This is my message for you.” So they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” And they came to him, took hold of his feet, and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers and sisters to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”

Children's Egg Hunt with Meaning: March 29 at 9:00am
Open to all children 3yrs. - 6th grade
Meet in the Wesley Room (use the back parking lot entrance) at 8:50AM. We will begin at 9:00 AM (sharp!).
Please bring your own bag or basket to collect eggs.
Everyone will leave with the same amount of eggs and special symbols of Holy Week.
Parents/guardians are welcome to enjoy a continental breakfast & family craft in the Wesley Room while the children experience Holy Week through stations in the gym
After the stations, children will be escorted to the Wesley Room for their breakfast
Parents/guardians will meet the children in the Wesley Room
All families & children are invited to attend the family Palm Sunday services at 10:00 AM

St. John's Nursery School and Sunday School students are observing Lent by focusing on giving rather than giving something up. As a community service project, we are dedicating time and energy to support the local Associated Humane Society. With your help, we can provide food, treats, and comfort for the animals.
How can you help?
We are Collecting:
- light blankets(smaller sizes, no comforters or bedspreads)
- sheets (no fitted sheets)
- towels of all sizes
- baby blankets (solid, not crocheted)
- dish detergent
- laundry detergent
- disinfectant wipes
- paper towels
*All cloth items should be clean & without holes or stains.*
Donations can be dropped off Monday - Friday, 9:00am-2:00pm, to the Church Office, sent to school with students, or on Sundays in the Narthex -- 2000 Florence Ave, Hazlet, NJ 07730
