To Our Amazing MiMa Family,
There are moments in life that are incredibly difficult to put into words. This is one of them. After many years of laughter and unforgettable memories, we have to say goodbye to MiMa Create & Play.
This decision has broken our hearts because it was never our choice.
For months, we fought to keep MiMa alive. We stayed hopeful. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we reached a point where we simply could not continue.
Many of you know that our facility experienced repeated flooding. We reported the problems over and over again, hoping they would be repaired quickly and properly. Instead, the flooding continued, causing damage to our space, disrupting our business, forcing us to cancel parties and making it increasingly difficult to provide the safe, joyful environment. As if that wasn’t enough, we were presented with a dramatic rent increase that no small business could realistically sustain. We tried everything we could to negotiate fair and reasonable lease terms, but unfortunately, no agreement could be reached.
In the end, we were left with no choice but to close.
Nothing hurts more than knowing this goodbye wasn’t because we stopped believing in MiMa.
It was because the circumstances simply made it impossible for us to continue.
To every family that celebrated a birthday with us, every child who walked through our doors with excitement, every parent who trusted us with their most precious gift, every grandparent, every friend, every supporter, thank you. You didn’t just support a business. You built a community.
Watching your children grow up has been one of the greatest privileges of our lives. Some of the toddlers who first came to MiMa are now big kids, and seeing your families return year after year has meant everything to us.
Thank you for every smile, every recommendation, every kind review, every word of encouragement, and every memory we created together.
We leave with broken hearts, but also with overwhelming gratitude for every single one of you. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your families lives. We will never forget you.
