Lucia Cuculino, Denise Pollack, and Susan Lawson exemplify the very best of dedication, professionalism, and teamwork. During a critical transition period while the district searched for a new Director of Food Services, these three exceptional leaders ensured the department continued to operate seamlessly and at the highest level. With unwavering commitment, they made certain every student received nutritious meals, supported school staff with responsiveness and genuine care, and met each challenge with grace, resilience, and determination. Their ability to maintain stability, inspire confidence, and go above and beyond in service to our schools reflects extraordinary leadership. Their contributions have not gone unnoticed, and they are truly deserving of recognition through the GEM Awards that were presented by Superintendent Ed Tierney and Board Chair John Dick at the recent Board Meeting. Also in attendance for the recognition was Executive Director Pat Lefere and new Food Services Director Brian Desilets.
