"These are wild and intense times we are living in, full of emotional compost, vibrational whiplash and forced, energetic updates. Sometimes it feels to me like my emotions are on a sea-saw. One moment I can be in the throws of an old, encumbered emotion, and the next moment I’m flying high with truth and trust. This is the juxtaposition of change and energetic updates that grip us at this time. And truly, no one is getting through this time untouched. I feel it is important now to remember two things.

1.) Remember the Medicine you carry.

We each came here with a healing salve in our karmic backpacks. Perhaps your medicine is one of nurturing through food. Well, cook my sweet friend, cook! Or perhaps your medicine is structural. So, build a house or create a spreadsheet, whatever is called for at this time. Show up how you can to offer what you can to make your life and your world a better place. We need all the medicine we can get at this time in our collective evolution. Each and every one of you is a vital piece of our human puzzle. And, we all need each other to be whole. So get to know the medicine you carry and practice offering it out to the world.

2.) Spend time connecting with the Earth.

When the Buddha, Siddhartha, reached enlightenment, Mara, his shadow and the embodiment of deception, asked him, ‘what gives you the right to claim enlightenment. What authority gives a mere human this right?’ The Buddha reached down and touched his right hand to the Earth, a gesture signifying the Earth is his witness and she gives him this right. At this moment, there was a loud rumbling, the Earth shook and said, “I am his witness.” Mother Earth rose to meet the Buddha and witness his claim over the destructive thoughts that assailed him."
