Here are a few ways to prepare:

💤 Get plenty of sleep and start practicing your school bedtime routine.
🥗 Fuel your body with healthy meals and stay active.
💙 Spend time with family and friends who encourage you.
🎒 Begin gathering your school supplies and organizing your backpack.
😊 Come back with a positive attitude and ready to learn!

The first day of school is Wednesday, August 12!

🎉 G*E is Back in Session! 🐬💜

Our teachers were welcomed back by our Administration with a high-energy, motivating day of learning as we kick off another exciting school year! After an engaging meeting led by our principal, our staff continued our Leader in Me training with the amazing Mr. Jamie Spinks.

We always enjoy having Jamie on campus as he shares valuable strategies and best practices that strengthen our Leader in Me culture and help us empower every student to become a leader.

A special thank you to the Rotary Club of Key West for treating our staff to delicious welcome-back snacks. Your generosity helped make our first day back even more special!

Here’s to a fantastic year filled with leadership, learning, collaboration, and success. We can’t wait to welcome our Dolphins back! 💜🐬

📢 Attention G*E Families! 📢

If your 1st–5th grade child will need after-school daycare, they must be registered by this Friday, August 7, in order to begin daycare on the first day of school.

Students who are not registered by the August 7 deadline will not be able to attend daycare on the first day. Please don’t wait to complete your registration!

🗓️ Registration Deadlines:
✅ Grades 1–5: Register by Thursday, August 7 to begin daycare on Wednesday, August 12.
✅ VPK & Kindergarten: Register by Friday, August 14 at 12:00 PM to begin daycare on Monday, August 17.

⏰ Please don’t wait until Meet the Teacher Day to register. Applications must be completed by the deadlines above if you want your child to attend daycare on their first day of school.
