Two local children will have the opportunity to attend The Children's School this year with help from a $7,000 grant from the Macedonia Fund at the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys.
The donor-established fund was established to help expand access to Montessori education, creating opportunities for more local children to learn in an environment that encourages curiosity, independence, critical thinking, and responsible citizenship.📚️🛝🎨🔬👥🎓️

Our school is nestled right in the heart of Key West’s historic district, surrounded by the charm and character of buildings dating back to the early 1900s.
Our classrooms feel more like a home away from home than a traditional school setting. There’s something special about learning in a space filled with so much history, where every creaky floorboard and sunny window tells a story.
It’s just one of the many things that makes our little school so unique.
Hands-on learning took us around the world on Friday as our students proudly shared their animal habitat dioramas as part of their Cosmic Curriculum 🌎
