The Poinciana Jammers would like to wish everyone a “Happy World Steel Pan Day!” Our very own and fantastically talented, Mr. Brooker, started this group that proudly represents Poinciana.

Just a friendly reminder Pelican Family that we have "Meet the Teacher" today between the hours of 1-2pm. Please come through the front entrance. We hope to see everyone in attendance. Have a wonderful day.

Dr. Stair wants everyone to have a great first day back to school on Wednesday, August 12th. This year our student attendance goal is 97%. Let's work at having 100% student attendance for our first day on Wednesday.

As a parent/guardian, I will:
🌟 Talk with my child about the importance of attending school every day.
📅 Track absences at home. Students missing more than 10% of school days are considered chronically absent by the State of Florida.
🌙 Ensure my child gets adequate sleep and is ready for school each morning.
🚗 Maintain a backup transportation plan with a trusted family member, friend, or neighbor.
🦷 Schedule medical and dental appointments after school whenever possible.
🤒 Send my child to school when symptoms are mild and there is no fever or vomiting.
👩‍⚕️ Contact the school nurse if medical concerns occur frequently.
💙 Seek support from the school counselor if attendance becomes challenging.

🍎 Daycare Information 🍎

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for a great school year!

If your child will be attending our after-school daycare program, daycare registration packets will be available to pick up during Meet the Teacher.

✨ Daycare Details:
• 3 hours of care each day
• $55 per week

Please note that daycare will begin the first full week of school, so there will be no daycare during the first partial week.
