Today in Social Studies, we welcomed Coach Iggy from TKA for a special lesson on community and giving back! 🤝🌎

Students learned how we can all contribute to our community by using our skills to help others. Coach Iggy connected this to TKA’s work in water safety and taught our students the Junior Lifeguard rule “Reach or throw, don’t go.” 🛟

They even got to practice their own rescue line throws!

A fun, hands-on reminder that we all have something valuable to contribute to our community. 💛

Roots & Wonder is an outdoor learning program designed to help children slow down, step outside, and build a meaningful connection with the natural world. Through exploration, observation, hands-on learning, and plenty of time to wonder, children will learn in nature, from nature, and how to care for nature.

At the heart of the program are values like respect, curiosity, responsibility, and connection—helping children grow strong roots while keeping their natural sense of wonder alive. 🌱✨

Join us for a thoughtfully designed Independence Day evening created for individuals with special needs and their caregivers, offering a comfortable, inclusive way to enjoy the holiday.

📍 Mar Azul Condominium
600 Grapetree Drive, 12th Floor / Observation Room

🕗 Transportation from KB Community Center (arrive 8:00–8:30 PM)
🎆 Fireworks begin at 9:00 PM (weather permitting)
🚌 Return transportation provided after the show

💙 What to expect:
• Quiet viewing option with live-stream access
• Support available on-site as needed
• Water, snacks, and noise-cancelling headphones provided
• Designated calm, sensory-friendly environment

🌉 Today our students stepped into the world of engineering by designing and building bridges using only sticks and teamwork. What started as simple materials turned into impressive structures built through planning, testing, and collaboration.

The real challenge? Making their bridges strong enough to hold books—and they rose to it. 📚💪 Every group experimented with different designs, adjusted their ideas, and problem-solved in real time until their structures were sturdy enough to support weight without breaking.

It was a powerful moment of hands-on learning, where creativity met science and persistence paid off in the best way.

✨ TBT to Summer Camp 2025! ☀️📚

Last summer was filled with laughter, friendship, creativity, and endless memories. While our campers had plenty of fun exploring, creating, and playing, they were also keeping their minds active and continuing to grow through engaging educational activities and hands-on learning experiences.

We believe summer is the perfect time to nourish young minds while making unforgettable memories, and our campers did exactly that! 💡🌟

As we look ahead to another amazing summer, we’re excited to continue providing a space where learning and fun go hand in hand. We can’t wait to welcome new and returning campers for another season of discovery, growth, and adventure!
