🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸
Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the heroes who courageously stepped forward, and recognize the strength and unity shown in the days that followed.
May we continue to teach our children the importance of kindness, courage, compassion, service, and unity.

Today in Social Studies, we welcomed Coach Iggy from TKA for a special lesson on community and giving back! 🤝🌎

Students learned how we can all contribute to our community by using our skills to help others. Coach Iggy connected this to TKA’s work in water safety and taught our students the Junior Lifeguard rule “Reach or throw, don’t go.” 🛟

They even got to practice their own rescue line throws!

A fun, hands-on reminder that we all have something valuable to contribute to our community. 💛

🌿 Roots & Wonder 🌿

Roots & Wonder is an outdoor learning program designed to help children slow down, step outside, and build a meaningful connection with the natural world. Through exploration, observation, hands-on learning, and plenty of time to wonder, children will learn in nature, from nature, and how to care for nature.

At the heart of the program are values like respect, curiosity, responsibility, and connection—helping children grow strong roots while keeping their natural sense of wonder alive. 🌱✨

Because some of the most important learning happens when children have the freedom to explore, notice, ask questions, and get a little dirty. 🍃🐛🌻

Stretch it, squish it, swirl it… SLIME TIME! 💚🧪

Slime is more than just fun—it’s a hands-on sensory experience that helps strengthen fine motor skills, encourages creativity, supports focus, and introduces children to basic scientific concepts as they explore different textures and properties. The best learning happens when curiosity is free to get a little messy! ✨
