An excerpt from my book 'True Black Magic', by Jyade Cythrawl .."Real magic is a condition, and its practice is not as easy or cut and dry as most conceive it to be. It needn’t be difficult, but you have to cut through the crap of what you have been taught or told first, and that is exceedingly difficult.
Real magic is a state of being; cycles of experience which changes our consciousness/awareness. Being able to interact with another reality and things that other people are oblivious to is magic. Casting spells is only the beginning and a way to contact that other reality initially. Spells are a snowflake in a blizzard. Eventually you must look beyond the single falling flakes and see the whole landscape for what it is."

The Banshide/ Banshee:

I've had first hand experience, this is something one could never, Ever forget- believe me. This happened prior to my involvment with the occult overall, and was completely 'unsolicited'.
A banshee is an ancestral spirit & familiar, most typically linked with a noble family; my family is from Transylvania, Hungary now Romania and they were an old line Barons & Baronesses/ noble.
This also tells us that she belongs to every country & its peoples, not soley to the Celts even if they were the main ones to speak of Her - main source of information.
She is also a tutelary spirit: a guardian and protector & her presence/arrival is Not always because of a family members impending death. No, there are other more important reasons why she will show up...
There's more, but that's todays lesson and I really hope I helped to shed a bit of light & understanding on this mysterious, misunderstood and little know Spirit.

This is a very small excerpt from True Black magic:

"..When I see people saying things like.. beware the demons..the demons will get you and ruin your life, and its so dangerous blah blah, I have to laugh .
I would like to respond to them with - "No kidding, really!"
But demons don’t do this because they are evil and all that christian hullabaloo.

Yes they will ruin the life you are living at the time you call upon them, but that’s their 'job.'
This is why people are 'tormented' by demons and haunted and all that fun stuff.
When they decided to get involved in magic or 'dabble' just for kicks, or to try to curse someone they have entered for the wrong reason as well as not understanding what demons actually are.

It can almost be compared to you walking into a cage with a wild animal and not having any training in that area.
The demons are protecting something very valuable!
Your perception of them and darkness will change eventually on your trip..."
