Stark County Youth Assistance, GED & Career Coaching/Ages 16-24 We help Stark County, Illinois students to get their GED for FREE! We provide individual support for students, ages 16-24, to maintain focus on goals.

Our program is serving Stark County, Illinois out-of-school youth, ages 16-21, who need to earn their GED and begin exploring and/or training for a career or move on to college. Black Hawk College would like to help further their education. If you or your child has not yet earned their GED, please let us help! Some of the benefits of our program include:

* Job skills/interview training
* Transportation assistance
* Develop a powerful resume
* Tutoring

Please contact me by Facebook message, email, or phone if you think you or your child could benefit from our program. I can meet at your local library or you and your child are welcome to come to Black Hawk College Community Education Center in Kewanee. A few of the requirements to enroll a student in our Stark County Youth Program are as follows: high school drop-out, low income, Stark County Illinois resident, and between ages 16-21.

Ever thought about getting your GED? There is no time like the present! If you are 16-24 years of age and a Stark County resident you are eligible for the Stark County Youth Assistance program! The program is a partnership with Career Link and Black Hawk College which allows students to get their GED, earn financial incentives, potentially gain work experience through paid internships with local business and depending on an individuals future plans upon gaining a GED could pay for up to 2-years of college! Anyone residing in Stark County between the ages of 16-24 who would like to earn a GED could be eligible for the Stark County Youth Assistance program through Career Link and Black Hawk College! There is no cost and participants can earn a GED, financial incentives as well as get career coaching and assistance with college!
