The Kewanee High School Music and Theater Departments create four stage productions every year: Fall Play, Winter Musical, Group Interpretation, and also Contest Play. This is in addition to a magnificent speech team, marching band, pep band, concert band, and choral music program. 3-peat! The Kewanee Music Department has done it again. A victory parade tomorrow through Kewanee for these stellar student musicians beginning at KHS at 2PM Sunday, April 19. Kewanee it's time to show your pride. We'll be travelling from KHS down 3rd st., turning onto Main and traveling to Walmart before turning around and heading back to KHS. Let's celebrate!

Congratulations to the KHS choir and band students who performed yesterday. What an amazing day. After the technical difficulty it is official. Kewanee Band- 1st place (solo and ensemble), Kewanee Choir- 2nd place (solo and ensemble), and overall for Class A Kewanee High School is leading sweepstakes with a whopping 630 points! (45 more than last year) This, in addition to scores from Organization Contest on April 17th and 18th will determine final rankings and whether or not KHS completes the 3-peat as State Champions!
