We’re very excited that some of our Central Theater Camp students (with guidance from Ms O and the KHS Theater students) will be performing “Murals Come to Life” at 2pm in the Rotary Tent at the Kewanee Prairie Chicken Arts Festival on Saturday, July 22nd. Come and help celebrate Kewanee history and 10 years of the Walldogs murals!

*Kewanee Central Theater Camp is part of a 21st CCLC grant-funded program brought to you through a partnership between Kewanee School District and the Regional Office of Education.

What a wonderful finale to Kewanee Central Theater Camp. The high school Theater students (under the guidance of Ms. O 😁) taught the Central students so much. Here is their production of “The Day the Crayons Quit”.

It was a great first day of the Central Theater Camp.

Ms. O and the high school theater students taught us a lot about projecting, distinguishing emotions, and expressive body language. And sometimes you just have to be ridiculous!

For families who have a student enrolled in Steamer Success, we invite you to Astronomy Family Night at 7:45pm in the Kewanee Central Parking Lot. The QC Popular Astronomy Club will have many telescopes to view and will show you the wonders of the night time sky!
