The Potter's Wheel is a pottery teaching studio serving clients in the Kew Gardens area. Our studio is made up of a community of ceramic artists who are qualified to support and guide the novice, or who stimulate and collaborate with experienced artisans. Adult sessions consist of seven three-hour long classes in hand building or wheel throwing over a two-month period. Additional workshops over th

e course of the year will touch on other methods and styles, which include raku, sculpture, and other glazing techniques, to name a few. Contact us today for more information!

What will you recharge with this Summer?
We can’t promise that pottery will be easy but we can promise that you’ll learn something about yourself along the way.
Live in NYC and looking for a pottery community to join? You’ve found your place. Our sign up is now open for July-August Courses.
🪴Classes meet for 3 hours for 7 weeks, during this time students can sign up for unlimited workshop time to work on their projects.
🪴Hand Building and Wheel Throwing Classes start the week of July 6th, be sure to sign up using the link in our profile if you’re interested to secure your spot.

Did you know you can register for one of our courses up to 24 hours in advance?
We do this to ensure we’re prepared for you on the first day!
🪴We have some spots open in classes on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday classes. So be sure to secure your spot behind the wheel or the handbuilding table today!
🪴Once you get to our website click on the our courses tab and you can see our class selection and register for this May-June session.
🪴Starting the week of May 3rd our classes will meet once per week for 3 hours for 7 weeks.
