KC Seniors Repeat as All-Empire 8 Picks
Keuka College seniors Brooke Bonetti (at left) and Katie Deatherage earned Third Team All-Empire 8 honors for the second straight year, joining Madeline Greene ’23 as the only Wolves with multiple all-conference selections. Brooke led Keuka College with 42 goals – third-best in the league – and reached 100 career points while posting personal bests in ground balls, caused turnovers, and draw controls. Katie led field players with 30 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers, finishing seventh all-time in program history. She also added five goals and nine assists. Brooke was also named to the Sportswoman of the Year team for her integrity and leadership.

These awesome Community Health & Wellness seniors shared the results of their capstone projects, opened up about their unique career pathways and reflected on the lessons learned throughout their academic journey. Their passion, purpose, and commitment to community wellbeing left a strong impression on those who attended the panel. These students have learned perspectives on health promotion, prevention and how the degree can take them on many paths in the healthcare field. Congratulations to these fine athletes! Keegan was named Baseball Pitcher of the Week after a complete-game win over St. John Fisher.

Brooke Bonetti is a senior Community Health & Wellness student at Keuka College who earned Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week honors after a record-breaking 11-goal game. She leads the Empire 8 and ranks sixth in NCAA Division III with 5.33 goals per game.

Way to go athletes! We are super proud of you Brooke!!

Exploring Social Determinants of Health and Prevention Strategies through Interdisciplinary Problem-Based Case Studies in Community Settings! Thirty students from various backgrounds, including Criminal Justice, Community Health and Wellness, Health Science, and Occupational Therapy, came together yesterday Keuka Collegeto discuss the importance and correlation between health, crime, public health, social determinants of health, and policy.
