🎉 A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out to our Back to School Bash! 🎉

We had SO much fun celebrating the start of a brand-new school year with our Greenmont families! 💚📚

And of course, we can’t forget to thank the rain for making a surprise appearance… because apparently it wanted to be part of the festivities too! ☔😂 Thankfully, a little rain couldn’t stop the fun!

A special thank you to all of our amazing volunteers, staff, and families who helped make this event possible. We truly couldn’t do it without you! 🥰

🎒✏️ Our Supply Swap is Happening NOW! ✏️🎒

We still have LOTS of school supplies available, and we’d love for them to find a home!

If your family could use notebooks, folders, pencils, crayons, or other school essentials, stop by Greenmont and take what you need. Everything is FREE—our goal is to make sure these supplies get into the hands of our students before the school year begins.

Don’t let these supplies go to waste! Come see us while supplies last. 💚🍎

🎨 Bring a Book Character to Life! 🎨

This week, choose your favorite character from a book you’ve read this summer and create a drawing of them!

✨ You can:
🖍️ Draw them doing their favorite activity
🌟 Create a new adventure for them
🏡 Draw where they live
🎭 Add details that make them unique

📸 Ask a grown-up to share a photo of your artwork in the comments and tell us:
📚 What book is your character from?
💛 Why is this character your favorite?

Bonus Challenge: Read for 15 minutes before you start drawing!

📚✨ SUMMER LITERACY CHALLENGE – WEEK 2 ✨📚

Calling all Greenmont readers!

This week’s challenge is all about making reading FUN!

🧸 Option 1: Read to a Stuffed Animal
Pick your favorite stuffed friend and read them a story. Do you think they’ll enjoy it? Maybe they’ll even have a favorite character!

🔦 Option 2: Flashlight Reading
When the sun goes down, grab a flashlight and read for 15–20 minutes. Turn reading time into an adventure!
