It’s Welcome Wednesday 👋 Join us in welcoming our newest staff members over the new few weeks as we introduce them to our wonderful Charger community. First up- Ms. Hemmingsen 😊 Hi Chargers!

My name is Hannah Hemmingsen, and I’m SO excited to be your new 6th–8th Grade Social Studies teacher! I’m thrilled to be joining the Charger family this year and getting to know all of you.A little about me: I graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School… I know, I know. I’m officially on enemy territory now. 😂 But I promise I’m adjusting! After high school, I attended Bowling Green State University, where I studied Middle School Education with a focus on Language Arts and Social Studies.This is my second year teaching middle school. I grew up right here in Miamisburg, so coming back home was really important to me. Last year, I moved to Lima, Ohio, where I taught 5th Grade Language Arts. While I loved my experience there, I knew I wanted to come back home—and somehow, that led me right here to becoming a Charger! When I’m not at school, you can probably find me talking about the Cincinnati Bengals because IT’S OUR YEAR! 🐅I’m also a huge dog person and proud dog mom to my yellow Lab, Lemon. She is absolutely my pride and joy and your children definitely have heard all about her😂🐶I’m looking forward to getting to know your students, watching them grow throughout the year, and hopefully making Social Studies a class they actually look forward to coming to. I’m also excited to meet all of the parents and families throughout the school year!

Here’s to a great year full of learning, laughs, new memories, and hopefully a Bengals Super Bowl run. 😉🐅

Renewed, refreshed, and ready for the school year! ✨ Last week our staff came together for a wonderful retreat hosted by our St. Charles parish partners at Candlebrook Farms. From uplifting testimony by our youth ministry coordinator Kelly Summers, to moving prayerful sessions guided by Deacon Chris, to powerful worship led by Mr. Samudio, our hearts were filled with gratitude. Of course, it wouldn’t be a staff gathering without some friendly (and hilarious) competition! Blessed to grow together as a staff in faith and community🙏
