We're celebrating National Principals Month!

We’re grateful for the leadership, dedication, and care Mr. Himes brings to Ascension each day. Thank you for helping our students grow, our teachers thrive, and our school community live out its mission!

Growing in faith starts with opening our hearts and minds to God’s Word. ❤️📖

Our students are learning, reflecting, and discovering how Scripture connects to their lives.

Students recently got the chance to try out different instruments and discover the joy of making music! 🥁🎶

Band is one of the ways our students can explore their musical interests and find their rhythm! Who knows? We may have some future musicians in the making! 🎷

Artists work in all kinds of mediums, but have you ever tried Oreos?

Our students got creative with cookies and icing, turning a classic treat into a canvas for unique (and delicious!) designs. Who knew art could be this sweet? 😋

Two schools. One team. One big win!🏆

The combined St. Albert the Great + Ascension girls soccer team took home first place in their tournament bracket this weekend in the 3rd/4th grade division! 🎉

Featuring girls from both schools across grades 2–3, this team came together, competed hard, and played their way to victory! We love seeing our students build friendships, represent their schools, and cheer each other on! ⚽

Outdoor time with Fr. Tony! ☀️

We love when our students have the opportunity to spend time with our priests—building relationships, sharing a few laughs, and growing together in faith and community. ❤️

Things are measuring up in science!

Our students are getting hands-on with triple beam balances as they practice measuring mass, reading scales, and putting their science skills to work!

It’s not a box. It’s a… 🤔✨

And that’s where our students’ imaginations went to work! With a little creativity and a lot of possibility, an ordinary box became something entirely their own!

Little learners. Big moments. ❤️

Gathered on the rug, learning from their teacher and from one another—these moments of learning, growing, and belonging are what make Ascension special.

Friday was full of sunshine, smiles, and so much Ascension spirit! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible Walk-a-Thon sponsors for helping make this special day possible. We’re so grateful for your support of our students and school community!

And we’re not done yet–Donations will be accepted through October 2, so there’s still time to contribute!

We can’t wait to share more highlights from this special day—and, soon, our final total! 👀
