At every one of our events there seems to be these behind the scenes moments that occur, that are just beautiful!

This one was from our recent lemonade stand.

This young man was one of our volunteers for the day and we looked up and he was praying for attendees with a handful of desserts in tow, lol!

We share this not to give him any glory or attention because that’s certainly not what he was seeking. He was just being a light and pointing people to Jesus.

That’s the mission.

That’s the goal.

That’s the post.

In everything that you do point them back to Him.

This was such a great conversation on how to turn things around for your family and start positioning them and yourself for strength, or to be able to deal with hard things.

After five years of praying, believing, waiting and learning, this past Saturday we got to open the doors of our Incubation Space for Sophia Learning Center and welcome family, friends and those who have been walking with us on this journey to show how the Lord has made a way for this space, and has begun transforming it into a beautiful place for children and families right before our eyes. We also shared the plans for where this space is headed.

Thank you all so much for coming out to celebrate with us at our Open House/Fresh Lemonade and Homemade Baked Goods fundraiser!

We sold what accounted to 1,000 cups of lemonade, and God is still on the move!!!

Thank you to our Aunty Pat for the amazing lemonade that folks are still talking and asking us about, lol! 🍋 🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵

Thank you to our wonderful team of our Board, staff, volunteers and parents! You all were fantastic! Despite the morning, pouring rain, you showed up on time, ready to work and get things moving! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️From our hearts, THANK YOU!! You have no idea how much that blessed and helped us.

We also have to shout out our summer camp students! They did a fantastic job on their End-of-Summer showcase! We’ll be posting the recording of the showcase next week.

There were multiple parts to this event and so many people to thank, so we’ve just decided that we’re going to spend the next week sharing our wrap ups from summer camp and this event and saying thank you! ♥️

Hey there, family!

We’re still tallying while resting and recuperating from Saturday’s event, but we wanted to hop on here and say THANK YOU!!!!

Thank you for showing up despite the rain…

Thank you for coming to see what the Lord has done in our new space…and

Thank you for supporting by purchasing lemonade and sweets and sharing our event with others!

You all truly blessed our hearts!

TODAY IS THE DAY!

Join us from 1 to 6pm for some delicious lemonade and yummy desserts!

This year’s goal is to sale 2,000 cups of lemonade, which will:

Celebrate and thank God for the new space that He has given us to begin the process of growth and reach more families;

Continue working on the needed updates to the inside of our new school building as well as allows us to build up additional funding for unexpected costs as we continue to renovate; and

Enable us to purchase new play equipment and technology to assist students in learning this school year.

Planning on joining us this Saturday? Here's the dessert and details on parking to help you in your planning.

Our 2026 Fresh Lemonade & Homemade Baked Goods fundraiser will be held (rain or shine) at our new Incubation Space (1524 Barney Ave., Kettering, Ohio 45420) from 1 to 6:00 p.m.

This year's sell will feature three flavors of old-fashioned lemonade, and six homemade baked goods by some of the best bakers that we know! See the full menu below.

You may also purchase lemonade by the cup, souvenir bottle or by gallon the day of the event, beginning at $5.00 a cup. Cups of lemonade will begin at $5 and specialty bottles will begin at $10.

Parking for the Event: Free parking will be available right as you turn on the street at Details Salon and AJs Hanger. We will have volunteers on hand, in yellow t-shirts, and signage in place to help direct you. From there, follow the lemonade signs up the street to our new space.

For those who may need a little assistance, we will have a golf cart transporting attendees back-and-forth throughout the day.
