Tongass School of Arts and Sciences celebrates Elizabeth Peratrovich Day with dancing, singing and gifts - KRBD Students from every grade at the Ketchikan elementary school gave a performance to honor the Tlingit civil rights leader.

Our students have been working so hard to prepare for this years Battle of the Books! We are excited to see them compete next week!

Congratulations Thunderbirds! Between us and Khigh we raised $1364.12 for penny power!!

Extra congrats to our 3rd and 4th graders who are this years winners at -6,489 (yes negative haha this year was a competition to be the closest to zero😂)

Penny Power finishes this Friday!!

Competition between the classes is getting fierce and it could be anyone who takes the win this year!

It’s that time of year again! Penny Power officially starts on Monday but the jars are out by the office for any early birds!
Reminder: pennies are positive points for your class and all other coins or bills can be used to sabotage other classes!!

All fund raised will go toward buying food boxes for families in our communities and first bank is matching fund to pay for a school musical this year!

"Our school introduced a STEAM program last year and we where able to purchase a 3D printer for student use. We found however that the student computers weren't strong enough to use the design software so these computers will be used by students during their STEAM class to design and operate using a 3D printer!
