My Dear Valued Costumers,
Most of you have heard my story on how this endeavor came to be. It started with my husband buying me a Pfaff sewing machine…rest is history. Wow, and what a positive journey it has been due to all of you!
Thank you for the opportunity and trust to work on your sewing machines! Thank you for all the encouragement and, most of all, the patience as I grew in my knowledge as a sewing machine tech.
After a great amount of thinking, talking, praying and weighing the pros and cons, I have decided to close Madewell Stitch -N- Fix doors. The last day will be May 31, 2025.
As some of you already know, this coming year will be my last full year in Ketchikan. My husband retires soon, and we will be moving. I feel that with all the preparations for a move and other personal reasons, I will not be able to give my best services to you and your machines.
However, I’m not just going to abandon you.
If you have purchased a sewing machine from me, I will still be available for the warranty of the machine while I’m here in Ketchikan.
I’m going to offer a class where you get to learn how to maintain your machines, cleanings and some problem solving. If you’re interested in this class, shoot me a text that you would like to attend. I’m still working out the dates. It will either be in April or May.
Now, between January 6th and May 31st, if you need a maintenance cleaning on your machine, please set up a time to bring your machine in.
You all have my number, so please still reach out to me if you have questions, I’m still a sewing machine tech who is furthering her training but having to close her business.
Again, thank you, thank you!!
Janene
