Congratulations to Kaden for his dedication, determination, and success in the 2023 KGBSD spelling bee. Way to go!!!
KCS middle school students are the ONLY students in our school district actively working with UAVs (drones). Students have logged flight time, gone on location to shoot a commercial, as well as flown indoors in tight spaces. In each case, they follow very specific flight protocols, as well as having a specified flight crew for each launch.
Two weeks ago the KCS middle school PE class went to the Rec Center for their swim program. It was a fantastic surprise how in-depth the pool staff was in making sure our students learned so much: from water polo to lap work to diving...we did it all. HUGE shout out to Erin, Jeremy, and the rest of the pool staff.
Merry Christmas from some of our middle school band members. Left to right: Lavina Chinuhuk, Avelynn Slyter, Kate Pader, Mrs. Cron, Iris Bray, Lucas Teasley, and Aljhan Millendez.
