Always love discussing the Gilded Age with 7th graders. Students think school is tough until they hear about kids who worked 12 hour days, 6 days a week.

Another permit day here at the DMV…..7 testing. Let’s see how they do! Getting our students industry credentials is a BIG part of our middle school program.

KCS 6th graders spend a good portion of the spring studying the Silk Road. Learning about commodities such as silk and spices, and how they changed the world, is always fun.
