Dear Fawn Mountain Parents,

The holiday season is fast approaching! Fawn Mountain School is starting to collect non-perishable food items for our food drive this week. We will continue to collect food items through November 18th. We currently have a drop location here at Fawn Mountain and at the Coast Guard Base in the Crow’s Nest (for those who have access). We will also have a donation table set up at the Alaskan & Proud grocery store for the next four Fridays from 4pm – 6pm. The holiday season is for family and making memories. We want to help as many families as we can this year by taking a little stress off their plate. If you are able, please help us reach our goal of over 1000 food items. We will be distributing food boxes to school families, then WISH, and lastly, the Salvation Army.
We are excited to have our students and staff involved in this act of community service. Thank you for your support!

This month is Filipino American History Month. We have created a cultural spotlight bulletin board that resides in front of our MSR. Teachers have been stopping to check it out with their students. We encourage family members to come check it out as well and would love to add to it with any history you may have. We hope to keep this up through out the year and learn about different cultures as we go.
