SDI's Sustainability Leadership Cohort is now accepting applications for our 2022 Cohort. This year, our theme will be GEOSCIENCE - the study of the Earth. All high school students interested can register for the cohort using this google form: https://bit.ly/SLC2022APPLICATION

In lieu of this years Menominee Pow Wow being cancelled due to Covid, the SLC has decided that this Friday they'll be selling "Pow Wow Food" at their final food sale. This includes Fried Oreos, Freshly Squeezed Lemonade, Watermelon Cups, Tamales, Wild Rice Dish, Frybread Pizza Pockets (Pepperoni, Sausage, or Cheese), and Indian Tacos. So if you have a hankerin' for any of these dishes, come on down to the Keshena Farmer's Market at CMN from 10AM - 2PM/until we run out of food. We'll see you there!

This Friday, the SLC will be fundraising at the Keshena's Farmer's Market at CMN to raise funds for their trip to Alaska. This week, they're selling bowls of soup for $5. Options are Chili (Hot or Mild), Pozole, Chicken Wild Rice, and Creamy Chicken Wild Rice. They will also be selling a rice dish, biscuits, and frybread. All funds from this sale will go to funding their trip to Alaska where they will have the opportunity to see the local tribal college and do a cultural exchange with the local community. They'll be there starting at 10AM to 2PM or until they sell out. Stop on by this Friday!

Week 2 of the Sustainability Leadership Cohort's Alaska Trip Food Sale Fundraiser. This Friday at the Keshena Farmers Market on CMN's campus, we will be selling an $8 Plate with a Brat or Burger, Potato Salad, Beans, and a Dessert. All profits from this sale will go to fund their trip to Alaska where they will visit a local tribal college and have a cultural exchange with the local indigenous community. We will be there starting at 10AM until 2PM or when the food is all sold out. We hope to see you there supporting local youth enrichment!
