🏈🏐📣 FFA Members in Action—On and Off the Field! 💙💛

Our North Central FFA members have been BUSY this week! We love seeing our members represent FFA while also getting involved in athletics and showing their school spirit!

🏈 📣On Wednesday, several of our FFA members took the field as JV Football players, while others cheered them on as JV Cheerleaders!

🏐 🏈 📣On Thursday, our members were back in action representing North Central on the Varsity Volleyball team, while others traveled to represent the school as Varsity Football players and Varsity Cheerleaders!

FFA is all about developing well-rounded students through leadership, personal growth, and career success, and we are proud to see our members taking those skills beyond the agriculture classroom and FFA chapter. Whether they’re wearing national blue and corn gold, a green and yellow jersey, or a cheer uniform, our members are representing North Central with pride! 💙💛

This past few weeks some of our FFA members continued the tradition of making owls to gift the new South Carolina Agricultural Educators! Miss Pisik and Sir Chester were the ones to make the special delivery to the New Teacher Retreat at the SC FFA camp! Miss Pisik was invited this year to deliver a workshop on National FFA resources as she is one of South Carolina’s National FFA Teacher Ambassadors!
Members also prepared gift bags to go with the wooden owls for the new teachers and assisted Miss Pisik in preparing some workshop materials! Wooden tulips were gifted to State Staff this year to thank them for all of their hard work they do for SC FFA members!

Our North Central FFA Officers enjoyed helping out at North Central High School’s Open House and welcoming students and families back for another great school year! 🌱🐄

Our FFA officers even took two of our class pets, Bart and Muffin, on a little adventure around the school to visit some of our teachers and spread a few smiles along the way! 💙💛

A huge THANK YOU to the parents and students who stopped by to visit with us, ask questions, and learn more about the opportunities available through Agricultural Education and FFA. We loved seeing familiar faces and meeting some of our future FFA members!

We are excited for everything this school year has in store and can’t wait to continue Growing Leaders, Building Communities, and Strengthening Agriculture! 🌾

The final day of the Farm and Agribusiness tour took us to C&M Ranch, Rich Hill Farms and Lavender Flair! One of our members and our advisor got to learn from multi generational farms in regards to Beefmaster Cattle, Vegetable/Fruit production, and Lavender production! All locations are within 30 minutes of the school so I know our members that have attended from then past two days are excited to know of such great agricultural entities that are so close that they can visit in the future!

We appreciate the Lancaster County FFA chapters today for all their help at the tour stops!
