Our 2026-2027 North Central Junior Leadership Kershaw County class participated in a ropes course at Camp Canaan in Rock Hill on Saturday, 8/22. Students were placed on teams with student leaders from Camden High, Lugoff-Elgin High, and Camden Military, and they bonded with teammates and practiced leadership and problem-solving as they encouraged each other to complete the obstacles in the course. They are looking forward to continuing to develop as student leaders over the school year with many valuable sessions. What a great Friday afternoon treat!! 7Brew of Camden surprised our faculty and staff today by showing up with free drinks! Also thanks to our amazing Admin team for hand delivering to classrooms! It takes a village, and it is great to have community support!! Thanks again 7Brew!!

Kershaw County citizens age 65 years or older and Kershaw County School District retirees can receive lifetime Golden Circle passes that allow them to attend school-sponsored activities or athletic events free of charge. The passes are good from year to year. Admission to athletic playoffs is not included.

💛 Golden Circle passes are available at all three high schools — Camden High, Lugoff-Elgin High and North Central High.

We are very excited to continue our partnership with the School Based Health Center! All enrolled students are eligible to receive FREE acute health care on our campus during school hours! Students can be seen, given prescription, and a medical excuse for common illnesses such as Flu, Covid, and Strep. While at National FFA Ambassador training our chapter was recognized for being a part of the Chapter Connect program and are paired with Mandan FFA Chapter in North Dakota!

Chapter Connect provides FFA chapters with opportunities to strengthen chapter engagement, build leadership capacity, and connect with FFA members and advisors from across the country. Through this experience, North Central FFA will gain valuable tools and resources that they will be able to learn from and bring back to not only their other chapter members but also South Carolina FFA Association members!

Join us in congratulating our members and advisor of North Central FFA on this exciting accomplishment as we are the first chapter in South Carolina to be chosen! We are all so excited to be able to meet the members from North Dakota in Indianapolis, Indiana at the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo!
