Los Amigos Beginner’s Spanish is a fun and engaging introduction to Spanish!

Through songs, games, movement, stories, coloring, and simple conversation, children will build confidence with basic Spanish words and phrases in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. Our goal isn’t fluency or memorization, but helping kids develop a love for language learning while becoming familiar with everyday vocabulary.

Day FIVE of the summer series, where we highlight our classes for this upcoming fall!

Do you have a child who can't get enough facts about sharks, whales, and other mysterious creatures of the deep? Explore these animals and discover even more about the ocean in this Marine Biology science unit. Through engaging lessons, stunning videos, simple experiments, and interactive learning, children will explore and gain a greater appreciation for some of the smallest of God's creations as well as the largest creations on the planet.

Day FOUR of our summer series!

Let’s study some cool HISTORY! 📚

Join us as we explore the military history of the United States, from the Revolutionary War through the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. We will study a series of pivotal battles that shaped the history of our nation, focusing on the development of weapons, tactics and military leadership. Examples of battles that we will consider include Yorktown, New Orleans, Gettysburg, Little Bighorn, Midway, the D-Day invasion, the Chosin Reservoir, and Fallujah. Additional topics will include a study of trench warfare in the First World War, and the development of helicopter tactics in Vietnam. The class will include a field trip opportunity to the National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg. Come join us as we strive to honor the legacy of the men and women who fought to establish and maintain our freedom through their bravery and sacrifice.

There is also ymca harper, Ingram, and Fredericksburg teams too!
