Centric Section 18 for Control of Pasture Mealybug

The EPA approved a FIFRA Section 18 Crisis Emergency Exemption for Centric 40WG insecticide to control mealybug in pasture grass in the State of Texas. Centric is not a restricted use pesticide.

As a reminder, the final program in our Small Acreage Landowner series will be Tuesday, August 18th from 10-12 noon in the Expo Hall at the Hill Country Event Center, 3785 Hwy. 27 in Kerrville. Check out this new publication "Timing of Pond Management Practices". It covers several topics related to pond management including several FAQs. The last page includes a pond management calendar organized by water temperature.

Don't forget, our Small Acreage Landowner series will continue with the final two programs August 11th and 18th. Make plans to join us! The location has been moved to the Expo Hall at the Hill Country Event Center adjacent to the Extension Office. The Extension Office remains closed as repairs are still underway.
August 11 - Feral Hog Management (2 CEUs - 1 L&R. 1 Gen)
August 18 - Ag/Wildlife Valuation
Both programs will be from 10-12 noon. I won't be in a position to collect money so we'll work off the honor system.
