When I originally decided to go into aviation I wanted to become a helicopter pilot, now with better knowledge I have decided to get my ratings. It is more beneficial for me to have my airplane and helicopter ratings. I hope this page gives you inspiration and insight to an aviators life. I am going to give you a short version of my story. I am originally from Fort Chiswell, VA but currently live

in Winston Salem, NC. I came from a broken home and a place where no one believes in college. Everyone works forty hours a week and if you have a factory job you are doing good. Most individuals are never able to have more than the bare essentials in life. I have been on my own since I was 16 and have learned plenty of life lessons. Despite the hardships I have faced, I held a forty hour a week job while completing high school. After high school I worked at Dish(call center) in WV and would drive two hours a day to have a good paying job, regardless if I liked the job. Two years later I moved to Winston Salem, NC on a leap of faith to find better opportunities. Now fast forward four years later and I am still in NC working as a Letter Carrier for the United States.
