Our Children’s House class began Math lessons today! The Spindle Box is a Montessori math work that introduces children to quantity and numbers in a hands on way. Students place the correct number of spindles into each compartment, they begin connecting the written number to its corresponding quantity. This work also strengthens counting skills, one-to-one correspondence, concentration, coordination, and independence.1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣

A big thank you to Rev. Elizabeth for providing our staff with Safe Sanctuary training! 💛 We are so grateful for her time and guidance.
And a special thank you to our wonderful teachers for an incredible week of collaboration, teamwork, and dedication. We are so blessed to have such a committed team!
Of course, we had to celebrate our hard work afterward—with a little caffeine!
