Dear Fountain of Life Preschool Families,

We invite you to join us in keeping Renee and her family in your thoughts and prayers as they celebrate the life of her husband, Drew.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, 2715 Darrow Rd, Walkertown, NC 27051. A reception will follow the service, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather, share memories, and honor Drew's life and legacy.

We know our preschool family is filled with love and compassion, and we appreciate your continued prayers and support during this difficult time. Thank you for surrounding Renee and her family with kindness as they navigate this season of loss.

Dear Families,

It is with much sadness and a heavy heart that we share that Drew Harris, Ms. Renee's husband, lost his battle with cancer. Drew passed away on Friday morning at 1:50 am.

As Renee so eloquently articulated, "Drew faced cancer with incredible bravery, quiet determination and unwavering faith" (Faith Over Fear).

Renee shared that her heart is broken beyond words. Drew was her best friend, greatest blessing, safe place and love of her life. Drew was an amazing father to Chloe (13) and Ellie (9) - patient, loving, protective and endlessly proud of his children. Drew cherished his family. Renee finds comfort knowing he is no longer in pain. He has been made whole, resting in the arms of Jesus where there is no suffering, only perfect peace. Renee asked that I share the following scripture which meant so much to their family...

"Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 25. We will update with a time and more information once the details are finalized.

You will always hold a special place in our hearts and we are excited to see the big things you will do!

She has made such a meaningful impact on so many children and families while also walking through her husband’s cancer battle with incredible strength. Drew has been out of work and they still have many unknowns ahead.
