Josephine County has a huge need for caregivers and nursing assistants. RCC is now offering nursing assistant training in Grants Pass. There's still time to join the fall cohort and WorkSource Rogue Valley is offering tuition assistance.

Illinois Valley adults seeking to complete a GED or prepare for college can find teachers and resources to help through Rogue Community College’s Adult Basic Skills/GED Study Program in Kerby.

Adults who register for the program will receive ongoing help from an instructor and will complete skills training through flexible attendance during lab hours, Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Sept. 19 through Nov. 30. Online assistance is also available.

The RCC Illinois Valley Learning Center is located in the Kerby Belt Building at 24353 Redwood Highway and offers free parking. The cost is $65 for the fall term and financial assistance is available for eligible students.

To protect the well-being of our students, employees and Rogue Valley community, RCC will move all classes and services online for the entire Spring 2020 term.

Some courses will be impacted, and we're working to develop alternatives so that students may continue on their path and complete their programs. We are extending online support services and working on solutions for students who don't have computer access.
