Our days are busy—filled with to-do lists, projects, events, and school work. Tucked in the middle of it all is recess.

We treasure getting to capture moments like these. Moments when students aren’t just students, they are free to be children. Teachers aren’t just teachers, they are influencers and examples, and school isn’t just the place you go to learn, it’s where you belong.

Thank you, Mr Art, for mowing our grass. Thank you, Corey Baker, for untangling our swing. Thank you, Newberry Landscaping, for all the mulch—so.much.mulch!! Thank you, Ms Rebecca, and all of our teachers, for watching us at recess. Our playground and recess are better because of all your help!

Mrs Boyer and Ms Dawn were twinning today and took it as a sign to share this Back to School collab with our students. We are looking forward to a great first day and an even better school year! Can’t wait to see all our K-8th graders in the morning!

It’s time to celebrate back to school!

It’s been a great week getting ready for students to arrive on Monday. We’ve been praying, prepping and planning for a great school year. We are thankful for the teaching team God has given us and look forward to another year of Kingdom Focused, Christ Centered, Academically Excellent instruction at KCA!
