Rainbow Garden at Kenwood

ctile box fill is supplied, like playdough, colored rice, feed corn or beans. It contains links to many teacher-read books, dance activities, short videos and more. Photos are posted there of our group's fun creations, and are a way to share how kids are interacting with the supplies. Even as we are distant, it brings us together a little more. We have optional 8 minute zoom meetings twice a week for only 3 or four kids at a time, to be able to talk and do activities with each other. Twice a month we have a dance party and lunchtime zoom with any of the group who care to join.*

*A Note on preschool Zoom meetings: Zoom meetings are not particularly developmentally appropriate for this age. Some kids love them, others find them difficult. Each child and age is different. This offering is available but not required! One of our goals at Rainbow Garden is to get kids excited about learning and have a positive feeling about school. Feedback for this distance program has been very good. Kids have been enjoying the projects and look forward to each week's offerings!
