✨ Ms. Maddie’s students have been working hard and have started the week off on such a good note! 💗 We had a busy and fun-filled day!

🚌 We learned all about Bus Safety!
🔤 We worked on our Unique Unit 1 sight words through a fun fine-motor activity!
🧱 And we had so much fun exploring and creating in our STEM/Building Station!

5th grade spotlight! ⭐️

Last week in ELA, 5th grade participated in a fun activity based on Section 1 of "The Birchbark House."

Students selected a scene from the story and created a drawing to represent what they had read.

When finished, students took part in a gallery walk where they moved around the classroom to analyze how different perspectives can help broaden our own viewpoint.

These activities gave students a creative way to demonstrate their comprehension and make direct connections to the text.

We loved seeing their creativity and understanding come to life!✨

PHD Science Lesson 4:
Observe objects and materials to describe their properties!!

The students in Mrs. RayeAnne’s class got to use a few of there 5 senses to observe the properties of washers, marbles, blocks, water, seltzer, and dish soap.

The students had to complete lesson 4 work sheet by their-self as the group got to discuss the properties they observed!
