Dear Families, We are excited to host multiple field days for K.E.S. students. We are asking for volunteers to help with the following activities/classes:

02/25/2023

The K-2 students are working on a variety of skills with balloons. These students took a break to share their delight about using paddles to hit the balloons with partners.

These sixth graders are working on their individual skills. The "Quick Shooting Challenge" was a favorite for our students.

It is basketball season! Students in grades K-6 have worked on dribbling, passing and shooting. The upper grades also did peer assessments. They looked for key skill cues for dribbling and passing. The Monday classes will finish their half-court games next week.

We have worked on jumping the long ropes -with one jumper to three or four jumpers. These second graders were proud of their success!

Short Jump Rope Skills- the students worked on various skills and tricks to "climb the ladder."

Here are more field day pictures. We are missing some grade levels and events with the pictures. We had a great finish to the school year. A big shout out and thank you to Mr. Michael Wilson and McLane Co. for the donation of new games, water, and cotton candy. We appreciated those items.

Thanks again to all of our volunteers. We couldn't make this big day work without your help.

6th Graders had the chance to participate in handball, kickball, and soccer games for field day. Thank you to all of the volunteers for making the events successful. We wish the sixth graders success as they move to KMS next year.

It is hard to believe that tomorrow is the last day of school and our annual field day. We are hoping to have field day outside. For parents and high school students who are finished with exams, there is still time to come and help out with the festivities. Dear K.E.S. Families:

We are off to a great start this year. Students in grades 3-6 will be running the pacer run test this week during their scheduled physical education class. Please have your child bring a water bottle.
