Coraline received a positive office referral today for her extremely hard work in phonics! She couldn't wait to tell me that she has been practicing her phonics skills at home and she only missed 1 on her assessment today. 🎉

We are so proud of you, Coraline! Hard work really does pay off!! Keep pushing. 💛🖤

The votes are in!

Kenton School is proud to introduce our 2026-2027 teacher and support staff of the year representatives!

Ms. Bett Jewell was selected as this year's teacher of the year. She serves as our guidance teacher and brings a wealth of knowledge, support, and encouragement to both students and staff members. She is someone students know they can trust, a steady presence, and an incredible advocate for all of us. She never hesitates to lend her perspective, offer guidance, or help someone think through a difficult situation. We appreciate her ability and willingness to create a safe space where students feel heard, understood, and valued.

Ms. Michelle was chosen as our support staff of the year. She is one of those special people who makes a difference in others' lives just by being who she is. Serving as the assistant in our PreK classroom, she is a steady, loving presence who makes sure every child knows they are cared for, valued, and loved. She radiates love and kindness to both students and staff and brings an incredible positive energy from the second she enters the building each day. We are truly fortunate to have someone like Ms. Michelle who not only makes a huge difference in the lives of our youngest students but also makes our entire school a happier and more positive place just by being present.
