Originals, Not PhotocopiesšŸ’™

The Class of 2030 spent the day together for Freshman Retreat, ā€œOriginals, Not Photocopies,ā€ inspired by the life of Carlo Acutis and his reminder that each of us is created uniquely by God and called to live with purpose, faith, and virtue.

Throughout the day, students heard witness talks from classmates, celebrated Mass, and participated in a service project lead by President Tim Navone. Each student assembled a bag of necessities to give to someone in need, with the reminder to recognize the dignity of every person.

The afternoon brought games, activities inspired by Carlo’s life, and even life-sized rosaries. What a meaningful day of prayer, service, and community for the class of 2030. šŸ’™šŸ¾

AP Environmental Science students headed to Ross Creek at Natalie Coffin Greene Park for a hands-on lesson in stream ecology. They tested water quality, measured flow rate, searched for stream bugs, and gathered data to get a closer look at the health of the creek.

This kind of firsthand experience is part of what makes learning at MC special, connecting what happens in the classroom to the world around us.

What a great day to be in APES!šŸŒ±šŸ’™

Each spring, Marin Catholic juniors have the opportunity to propose a self-directed learning experience through the Junior Fellowship Program. Selected Fellows spend the summer completing 50+ hours of research, hands-on work, and exploration before presenting their projects to the MC community.

This years Fellows turned their interests into three very unique projects:

🧵Sierra — Sisi’s Signature
Using her grandmother’s 1972 Singer sewing machine, Sierra transformed thrifted clothing into original pieces for her eco-friendly brand.

šŸŽ¬Quan Ha — Foreign Love
An original short film exploring the experience of a first-generation Asian American son balancing his passions and life at home.

šŸ¦…Sammy — Falconry Then and Now
A hands-on exploration of caring for and training a Peregrine Falcon, along with the history of falconry around the world.

These are some truly incredible projects. Congrats to the 2026 Junior Fellows!

MC AT NOTRE DAME!

From September 21–23, Assistant Principal Megan Bridgwater, Director of AI Strategy Adam McGrath, and four Marin Catholic students traveled to the University of Notre Dame for the DELTA Summit on AI, Faith & Human Flourishing.

The summit brought together Catholic educators, researchers, and Church leaders from across the country to explore an important question: How do we keep the dignity of the human person at the center of an increasingly AI-driven world?

Mrs. Bridgwater and Mr. McGrath also had the opportunity to share Marin Catholic’s Duc in Altum AI Challenge, highlighting how MC is approaching AI through the lens of faith, formation, and human flourishing.

Want to learn more about the Duc in Altum AI Challenge? Head to our Stories to hear from Mr. McGrath about the challenge and how MC students can get involved. šŸ’™šŸ¾

What is your passion?

Maybe it’s music.

It’s finding your sound. Learning to listen. Having the confidence to create and the courage to share it.

At Marin Catholic, music is about more than performing. It’s an opportunity to grow in confidence, create with purpose, and discover how your gifts can bring joy and connection to others.

Your passion may bring you to the stage. Our mission helps shape who you become.

Come for your passion. Leave with purpose.

What a special day at MC!šŸ’™šŸ¾

Today, we welcomed more than 400 guests to campus for Grandparents & Special Friends Day. Father Juan Manuel and President Tim Navone welcomed our guests at Mass, where Luna Chacon ā€˜27 shared a beautiful reflection about her grandmother and the special role she has played in her life.

Grandparents and friends came from near and far, including one grandmother who traveled all the way from Ireland to be here with us! šŸ‡®šŸ‡Ŗ

Thank you to all of the grandparents and special friends who joined us today. We are so grateful you are part of the Marin Catholic community!

What is your passion?

Maybe it’s competition. The teamwork, the challenge, the feeling of accomplishing something together.

At Marin Catholic, athletics is about more than what happens on the field. Students developed character, learn to lead, and discover what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Your passion may bring you to the field. Our mission shapes what you take with you.

Come for your passion. Leave with purpose.
