Our Police Science/Criminal Law students hit the streets again this year—connecting with Kent Police officers, sharing what they’re learning, and snagging selfies.
Positive interactions matter. And our students got to see firsthand that their local officers are real, caring people who enjoy connecting with young members of the community.
Great job, Royals and Conquerors.

The Kent Festival was a fantastic day where we brought STEM learning to life with our Straw Rocket Launch Station. Community members and students designed, built, and launched rockets while exploring the science of flight. Students excelled as leaders, explaining rocket mechanics and encouraging younger children. We also discussed STEM careers related to rocketry, engineering, and problem-solving, inspiring curiosity in attendees. The event was filled with excitement, smiles, and hands-on learning, showcasing our students' teamwork and communication skills. We're grateful to everyone who participated and celebrated the joy of learning with us!
