A huge thank you to Monica at Monilin Photo Booth for volunteering her time and talent to make our Benson Hill Family Heritage Night extra special! She showed up with the most fabulous energy, tons of fun accessories, and even created a custom frame just for our event.

Because of her, we have so many captured smiles, sweet moments, and silly memories to look back on.

Of course, Ms. Kristie and Ms. Kelly had to hop in the photobooth too, and let’s just say this is what happens when two teachers with almost a foot of height difference try to take a photo together.

Happy Halloween from our Explorers!
After our trip to the pumpkin patch, our young scientists made pumpkin soup, a mixture of pumpkin guts, oobleck, color, and glitter! We’re kicking off our new unit on mixtures and concoctions, and I bet you’ve never seen a pumpkin this beautiful.

Community is the foundation of everything we do at Benson Hill.

We’re collecting food for the Kent Food Bank, and our Eagles class will be bringing the donations themselves to learn about helping their neighbors and giving back.

If you’re able to donate, you can stop by Benson Hill Preschool
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday between 10:30-12:00.

Donations are due by November 7th.

We know this is a hard and uncertain time, and everyone deserves a good holiday meal. Thank you for being part of our community and helping spread kindness.

Our Hummingbirds classroom is for little ones 12 months (as of August 31) up to under 3 years old.

This fun, mixed-age classroom gives little ones the chance to be both leaders and learners, exploring and growing together.

It’s a caregiver-and-me style class, where each child’s special adult joins them for play, discovery, and connection. Caregivers are stationed around the room to support exploration while children begin learning gentle separation and classroom routines.
