The Glauser School of Music is thrilled to announced the winner of the fourth annual Roy Minoff Composition Competition, Alex Stephenson, Ph.D.! 🎉
Chosen from 76 applicants, Stephenson will receive a $14,000 commission to compose a 15- to 20-minute work for flute, saxophone, piano, percussion and cello. The new work will premiere at Kent State in fall 2027, performed by School of Music faculty.
